SOFTONE Group appoints Radu Opriș as Group General Manager International
SOFTONE Group, leader in the provision of business software solutions in Greece and South-East Europe, announces the appointment of Radu Opriș as Group General Manager International.
This appointment reinforces the SOFTONE Group’s commitment to strengthen its presence in Romania, Bulgaria and the South-Eastern Europe region. Radu Opriș has unique leadership experience, having previously worked in the IT, telecommunications and business software industries in South-Eastern Europe.
Before joining the SOFTONE Group, he held the position of General Manager within HP Enterprise Romania. Previously, he held executive positions for renowned organizations including Microsoft and Motorola. Throughout his career, Radu has consistently managed to successfully support the expansion of companies into untapped markets and industries, ensure the development of strong partner networks and create valuable management teams through strategic recruitment initiatives.
In his new role, Radu Opriș will work closely with the Country General Managers, Alexandra Lucescu (Romania) and Rado Vangelov (Bulgaria) to execute and accelerate the fulfillment of strategic plans and objectives for the Romanian and Bulgarian markets. In addition, it will explore and identify new opportunities for expansion in Southeast Europe.
