Artificial Intelligence is increasingly making its way into the job market, and with the increase in the number of AI tools available, there are also more fears in the public space about a possible danger, with negative effects such as increased unemployment and social tensions . However, the fears seem unwarranted, as more than 60% of respondents to a recent bestjobs survey believe that their work cannot be replaced by AI, while 22% appreciate the possibility of making certain tasks at work more efficient, and only 18% remain skeptical.
Of the bestjobs survey participants who said they used GPT Chat, 27% said they most often used it for work, another 27% to generate texts and articles, 35% for general culture information, 7% for templates and responses to emails, and 5% for writing code. A good part of them used Chat GPT as support for employment, 32% involving Chat GPT in job search, 12% in getting interview tips, 25% in writing the email or cover letter when applying to a new job The online recruitment platform bestjobs announces, for the first time for Romania, the launch of the first AI-based career coach that functions as a real personal career advisor, helping candidates to better orient themselves professionally, complete their CVs or and refine your searches on bestjobs.
Users can also receive useful tips from the Digital Coach so that they are better prepared for a potential interview, completely transforming the experience of using a recruitment platform. “At bestjobs, we support users in their endeavors and stand by them in the most efficient way possible, integrating next-generation digital technologies for industry innovation. We are amplifying the use of AI by integrating and training a 100% digital career coach, which uses Artificial Intelligence to provide candidates with valuable and personalized advice on how to improve their presence on the platform or how to become more attractive to employers, starting from CV writing- ului and until participating in the interview”, says Andrei Frunză, CEO of bestjobs.
Among recruiters, more than two-thirds admit to using AI platforms in the recruiting process, and just as many say they have started looking for candidates’ ability to use such tools. Most often, recruiters choose to use AI for writing job ads, for the most efficient selection of suitable candidates based on the CVs they receive, and for creating content that promotes the company’s Employer Branding strategy.
“In recent years, the labor market has been on the side of the candidates, who are in many areas insufficient in relation to the available jobs. This meant a much higher workload for employers, who were constantly on the lookout for suitable candidates. Bestjobs has created an algorithm to support recruiters in matching candidates with active jobs faster based on job description information. In addition, bestjobs has directly integrated into the platform the intelligent generation of content for job descriptions, recruiters thus managing to save 60% of the time dedicated to publishing an ad”, adds Andrei Frunză.
Bestjobs thus significantly improves the experience of platform users, bringing added value to candidates, through the personalized advice they have access to in real time, but also to employers, by simplifying the recruitment process, from the publication of the ad to the selection of candidates. AI Career Coach integrated by bestjobs is available here. The survey was conducted between May and June, with the participation of 1,867 Internet users.
