Wild Code School has also launched courses on the Romanian market, courses that prepare the next generations of web developers. The school offers courses for the development of digital skills and aims to provide those interested, regardless of the level of training, the opportunity to learn new professional skills, which will facilitate their integration into the labour market in the context of technological development and intensive digitization.
Founded in 2014, Wild Code School is part of an international network founded in France, which has 24 campuses in 11 countries on the continent, including Romania, the United Kingdom, Spain and Germany. In Romania, the courses of the company are focused on web development, and based on the studies conducted on our campuses, 90% of the graduates arrive within 6 months to access jobs in the digital industry.
The need for IT specialists has become more and more pronounced in recent years, which has led us to become actively involved in creating opportunities for developing skills in this field. Romania has great potential for growing the web developer community, with all the major global players in the tech industry being present in our country. We believe that Romania can become one of the largest IT hubs in Europe, dynamism and continuous evolution are important assets, says Irina Dumitru, Bucharest Campus Manager, Wild Code School Romania.
Web development courses are conducted in English and can be taken full time (5 months) or part time (10 months). Upon graduation, students will learn the skills needed to create, write and test websites, applications or programs. The course comprises a very complex practical part, in which the students will be integrated into concrete projects, developing their ability to work in a team and to find innovative solutions. Also, at the end of the course, the graduates will have a consistent portfolio, which will include three or four projects in which they have been involved.
Our courses are designed to provide students with all the tools they need to excel in web development, which is why the program is developed around the concept of lifelong learning and adapted to the latest discoveries in the field. From the earliest hours, future developers are learning what the challenges are and how to actively overcome them, succeeding in gaining the autonomy necessary to have successful careers in IT, adds Irina Dumitru, Bucharest Campus Manager, Wild Code School Romania.
To apply, the candidate follows a few simple steps, the first being to create an account on the online platform of Wild Code School, Odyssey. Here, those who wish to attend web development courses will have a first interaction with what programming means and will know some of the methodological principles on which the school operates. The final step is the interview, the perfect opportunity for the candidates to find out details from the professors and from the campus manager, so that they have a complete picture on what their professional training will entail.
This web development course can be followed by anyone interested, regardless of their professional background. The experience gained and the support that the campus manager offers in completing the CV, the cover letter, but also the support in preparing the interviews, helps the graduates to find their dream job.
