SAS and the Faculty of Cybernetics announce a new, up-to-date curriculum for the Advanced Data Analytics Master’s program
SAS, the global leader in analytics, together with the Faculty of Economic Cybernetics, Statistics and Informatics announce that the curriculum of the Databases – support for business Master’s program is updated to focus on the new skills required in today’s job market: Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence. The program is part of SAS commitment to train 5.000 data scientists by 2025 in order to accelerate the digital transformation in Romania and create a competitive workforce.
The Faculty of Economic Cybernetics, Statistics and Informatics within Bucharest University of Economic Studies has a long history with SAS. The Master’s program has a 12 years tradition, since 2009, SAS related courses have been taught for the undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Starting December 2020, the partnership between the two organizations has a new dimension: the Faculty of Economic Cybernetics, Statistics and Informatics obtained the prestigious SAS Academic Specializations and runs a new, state-of-the-art curriculum for the Databases – support for business Master’s program, focused on Advanced Data Analytics and AI to help students gain a competitive advantage in the job market.

During the 4 semesters, students will learn intensively Advanced Analytics technologies, join internship programs in Data Science and gain international SAS certifications, allowing them to build a strong knowledge base for joining top companies after graduation. Courses as SAS Programming, Python integration with commercial software, Machine Learning, data mining, visual analytics, real industry cases and scenarios, free access to software and much more create the premises for the students to get in-depth learning and hands on experience in advanced analytics.
