Plant an App participates in Challenge Accepted 2021: 20 teams compete to lay the foundations of digital Romania
Plant an App announces participation in the Accepted Paperhack Challenge. The event will take place between June 25 and 27 and is organized by the Informal IT School (Școala Informală de IT)
This year’s theme is digital Romania and how can our country reach the point where it has a digitized infrastructure that meets the needs of citizens.
For three days, participants in the Challenge Accepted Paperhack will code for a digital Romania. The event is organized by the Informal School of IT, which has made a mission to change lives and communities, and in 2021 reaches its seventh edition. Plant an App joins the initiative and supports the approach by which digitalization has a greater share in Romania. Plant an App is already a global player in the low-code industry and provides digital transformation solutions for global companies and organizations, including the United States Navy and the Government of Bermuda.
With this edition of the Challenge Accepted Paperhack, prototypes of functional applications for public institutions will be created in a maximum of 48 hours. They bring together professionals from prestigious IT companies, mentors with extensive experience in the Informal School of IT, software developers and architects, but also students and young entrepreneurs. 20 teams will compete, and the winning project will benefit from incubation and financial support worth 10,000 euros.
“It is a joy for us to participate and support this initiative. We have all seen in the last year and a half how important digital resources and tools are in our lives. Romania only has to win from the digitalization bet and we are confident that through the talents that the country has we can succeed in this endeavor. From Plant an App I can say that the technology we propose is addressed to both digital transformation leaders in the private sector and those in the public sector. We support the idea that anyone can schedule “, said Bogdan Lițescu, founder of Plant an App.
Plant an App is a low-code development platform that helps companies around the world build faster business software and accelerate their digital transformation.
The Plant an App approach means that the time required to create and launch software solutions is shorter. The Plant an App company was launched in December 2019, after the assimilation of DNN Sharp, bringing together in a single platform the necessary components for the fast and efficient creation of digital solutions. Thus, it offers dozens of easy-to-configure modules, from API Builder to eMail Marketing, with several hundred built-in actions that companies and developers can use.
