Romanian platform Eventmix.live expands the access for the general public and will host conferences and events

With the transition to the Beta version opened for public and the development of new features, the Eventmix.live platform becomes available to the general public and can host large events, with complex agendas and thousands of participants.

The Eventmix.live project was launched in 2020 by serial entrepreneurs Sergiu Biriș and Andrei Dunca and is aimed at those who want to organize, on their website, interactive online events, such as conferences, workshops, webinars, concerts or courses.

Eventmix.live is a self-service platform in which organizers can create a website dedicated to the event, under their own brand, on their link. Since its launch in September 2020, the platform has been improved by developing new features so that each organizer can successfully manage any virtual or hybrid event, from registration of participants, ticketing process, expo area for sponsors or area of networking where participants can interact. So far, Eventmix.live has successfully hosted events of up to 50 and 3200 participants, held over a full day or over several days. Of the total events, the largest share had the medical ones, followed by the wellness and education events, organized both in Romania and in the United States of America.

Among the clients of the platform are Mediamed Publicis which organized with the help of Eventmix.live conferences and congresses in the medical field, but also SuperTeach which holds monthly conferences in the field of education.

“Throughout the launch, we have continued to improve the platform so that anyone can organize an event under their own brand. With the new version of Eventmix.live we extend the access of event organizers and we can accommodate any type of event, even with tens of thousands of participants simultaneously, for several days. For this year, we aim to expand our presence in the United States, a market that we consider an accelerator of development, as well as increasing the number of events in the medical area, very important in the context of the pandemic,” said Sergiu Biriș, CEO and co -founder Eventmix.live.

According to project representatives, Eventmix.live is currently participating in thefamily.co acceleration program, one of the strongest startup programs in Europe. “Thefamily.co project helps us to open up to international markets, especially since Eventmix.live was conceived from the beginning to be a globally scalable project. Also, the fact that we will have the opportunity to present the project to a large number of investors at the end of the program, is an opportunity not to be missed for us. Our goal is to attract a round of investment that will contribute to accelerating growth and the global expansion of the project“, added Sergiu Biriș.

Eventmix.live is a project developed by Sergiu Biriș and Andrei Dunca, entrepreneurs with a solid background in the area of video streaming and online business. It is the third project that the two launch together.

The two collaborated in the past, being the co-founders of the Romanian video sharing platform Trilulilu, acquired by Digitap, as well as LiveRail, online video advertising company and one of the most successful startups started by Romanian founders, founded in 2007 and acquired by Facebook in 2014.
