Majorel Group (former Arvato company, part of Bertelsmann Group) decided to open the first office in Romania, in Brașov for a pilot project, with only 27 employees, ten years ago.
At the moment, the company has offices in four cities in Romania in: Brașov, Sibiu, Cluj-Napoca and Bucharest, with over 1300 employees working with world-class brands. In 2020, the company reached a turnover of 172 million euros and made investments worth 5.7 million euros.
During the pandemic, Majorel Romania’s officials say is the first country in the group that managed to implement the telework program, so at this moment all the 1300 people employed by Majorel, work from home.
“During this period, the company carried out many activities both for the welfare of employees and to support the local economy: developing the package of medical services so that all Majorel employees can have priority during the pandemic, supporting local festivals such as the Amural , the development of internal tools, the facilitation of all the needs so that each employee can work from home in the best conditions, bonus for additional expenses,” says, Daniela Micușan, General Manager, Majorel Romania.
During this period, Majorel Romania developed its client portfolio, employing over 300 people in a pandemic.
