Accesa Consulting și Accesa IT Systems merge to form an IT larger company in Cluj-Napoca

Cluj-Napoca based companies Accesa Consulting and Accesa IT Systems, specialized in custom software development (customer-oriented software), merged in the spring of this year, according to local media in Cluj.

“The two entities were 100% owned by Accesa IT Group GmbH, based in Germany, and were already operating in close collaboration, having the same object of activity. Therefore, the merger did not generate significant operational impact, being rather a natural step of administrative and legal consolidation,” the company said in a statement quoted by www.stiridecluj.ro.

Together, the two companies reported business exceeding 400 million lei and a total of over 1,000 employees in 2024. Accesa IT Systems recorded a 5% increase in turnover in 2024, reaching 246.96 million lei, from 234.26 million lei. However, the company’s net profit decreased significantly, by 41%, to 5.59 million lei. Also, the average number of employees decreased by 12%, reaching 751 people, from 846.

The announced merger comes as a strategic move to strengthen the position of the two companies in the local and regional IT market. Combining the resources, expertise and teams of the two companies will create a stronger structure, capable of tackling larger and more complex projects in the field of custom software. This move also reflects the trend in the IT industry to create more robust entities, capable of competing both locally and internationally, in a constantly expanding sector.

In 2019, Accesa, a full IT services provider with offices in Munich, Zurich, Cluj-Napoca, and Oradea, announces the fulfillment of the restructuring and consolidation of Accesa Group‘s business activities. Thus, Accesa IT Consulting, Accesa IT Systems, and Accesa Schweiz – all of them, move under a single entity, that of the Accesa IT Group. This reorganization was achieved by acquiring the shares previously owned by Alegri in the Accesa IT Systems company and moving the Accesa IT Consulting shares to the Accesa IT Group GmbH, Munich.
