Bucharest Tech Week 2025 attracted over 31,000 visitors
Bucharest Tech Week, the largest technology and innovation festival in Romania, attracted approximately 31,000 visitors this year.
The event thus consolidates its position as a central landmark for connecting the tech ecosystem – from global leaders and technology companies, to professionals and the general public interested in tech solutions. Structured into two major components, Bucharest Tech Week debuted with Tech Expo, the largest B2C technology event in Romania, held on the weekend of June 14–15 at Romexpo, Pavilion B1.

Subsequently, between June 16 and 20, NORD Events Center by Globalworth hosted the five Business Summits, dedicated to professionals in fields essential for the digital future. Tech Expo: Direct interaction with innovations that transform everyday life Tech Expo attracted approximately 30,100 visitors, which confirms the public’s increased interest in the latest technological solutions useful in everyday life. The event, held on an area of almost 4,000 sqm, brought together over 50 partners who exhibited more than 1,400 innovative products and solutions. From electric mobility and smart home solutions, to health & wellbeing tech, digital education, gadgets and virtual reality, the public had the opportunity to interact directly with the latest technologies that shape the future of everyday life. Visitors tested electric vehicles, scooters, renewable energy charging stations, humanoid robots, car and flight simulators, educational applications, health monitoring devices and fully integrated smart home systems.
Among the brands present were: BCR, Mercedes-Benz, ASUS, Motorola, Ford, DREAME, Suzuki, Tesla, TechCuisine Smarthome, DAB Auto, BYD, Shaw, IRIS Robotics, SALUS Controls and others. Each came up with solutions that reflect the current transformations in lifestyle, work and mobility, in a constantly evolving digital context. Business Summits: Five days of conferences dedicated to digital transformation and technology leadership Business Summits, the business component of Bucharest Tech Week, brought together over 1,780 professionals who participated, for five days, in conferences focused on digital transformation, innovation and leadership. The official opening of the conferences took place on June 16 and had as guests Andrei Niculae (Vice President of the Romanian Digitalization Authority), Thomas Kolarik (VP IT & Operations BCR) and Alexandru Măxineanu (Managing Partner Universum Expo).
The event marked the beginning of an intense week of applied content, networking and exchange of expertise between global leaders, tech innovators and industry professionals. This year’s edition brought on stage over 60 local and international speakers who gave presentations within the five thematic summits – Innovation, Future: AI, HR Masters, AI Coding and Software Architecture – covering the major directions shaping the future of digital and organizational industries. Among the highlights of this edition was the appearance of Tilly Lockey – global influencer with bionic arms, motivational speaker and ambassador of bionic technology. At the Innovation Summit, Tilly offered an authentic perspective on how technology can support inclusion and redefine human limits.
The international line-up included top experts from world-renowned companies, such as: Dominik Heinrich (The Coca-Cola Company), Andy Grant (NVIDIA), Corrado de Bari (Oracle), Claire Renaud (DELL), Nazim Unlu (Novartis), Sonika Kapil (Microsoft), Mark Oost (Capgemini) or Donatella de Vita (Pirelli). The specialists addressed key topics such as concrete applications of artificial intelligence, the adoption of supercomputing, software architecture, leadership in the digital age, organizational transformation or employee wellbeing, providing participants with applied perspectives and relevant insights from behind the scenes of the most influential companies in the world. Bucharest Tech Week reflects the direction in which the digital ecosystem is evolving, annually providing a relevant framework for presenting trends, validating innovation and direct interaction with technology, through components dedicated to both the business environment and the general public.
