With over 1 million euros invested in employee development over the past 10 years and an annual turnover rate of only 2%, the company sets the standard in talent retention and development in a logistics industry characterized by rapid change.
“The Great Place to Work® certification is a recognition of our people-centric culture, where the care and support provided to employees are among the main priorities. We believe that sustainable success starts with a strong and engaged team,” said Cosmin Cârstea, CEO of DP World in Romania.

This growth supported the company’s strategic directions and consolidated its significant contribution to the development of Romania’s logistics infrastructure. In addition, a 50 million euro investment is underway for a multi-transport platform, scheduled to become operational by 2025. The impact of this approach is visible not only in the company’s performance, but also in the loyalty of our employees. Often, we see the next generations – the children of our employees – wanting to join us, inspired by their parents,” added Mihaela Matei, HR Lead Romania, Turkey, Cyprus and Serbia at DP World.
This organizational culture, focused on team development and stability, makes DP World Romania an example in a logistics industry that is constantly transforming.
