15 university educational projects were rewarded with a 5000 euro scholarship at the ANIS Scholarships 2024
ANIS, the Employers’ Association of the Software and Services Industry, announced last night, at the ANIS 2024 Scholarship Gala, the winners of the seventh edition of the educational program dedicated to university teachers who innovate in the teaching process.
This year, a record number of 67 projects were enrolled in the “ANIS Scholarships”. The applications were submitted by academics from 48 different faculties, from 20 universities in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Iasi, Timișoara, Sibiu, Galați, Brașov, Oradea, Constanța and Ploiesti. The most programs – 21 – were listed in the “Tech For All” category, by professors who introduced technology and innovated in the courses and labs they teach in non-technical faculty. 15 innovative courses out of the 67 proposed for judging received scholarships from ANIS member companies.
The applications were evaluated by an independent jury based on the four evaluation criteria: innovation, structure, method and continuity. In the 7 editions of the ANIS Scholarships program, more than 270 projects were registered, and the total value of the 82 scholarships awarded amounts to 410,000 euros.
This year’s edition is made with the support of the following companies: Adobe Romania, Bitdefender, Booking Holdings, DB Global Technology Center, Endava, Eviden Romania, GlobalLogic Romania, HARMAN International Romania, Orange Services, Regina Maria, Societe Generale Global Solution Centre, SoftServe Romania . The National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA BUCHAREST is an institutional partner in the ANIS 2024 Scholarships.
“The fact that year after year we have more and more applications in the ANIS Scholarships program, with an increasingly high quality, proves that the university environment has understood that innovation is the only way to transform Romania. In these seven years since the inauguration of the Scholarships, we have managed to place the industry and the university environment at the same table, but also to support the alignment of the curriculum taught in universities with what is required in the labor market, not only in the IT industry because, we know very well , technology is present in every field”, says Corina Vasile, Executive Director of ANIS.
