TotalSoft hired 100 programmers and consultants in six months
TotalSoft, one of the leading providers of business information systems in Central and Eastern Europe, announced it hired over 100 programmers and consultants in just six months, following personalized recruitment programs, as well as through TotalSoft Academy – dedicated to youth programs, college graduates and master’s students. Following the success of this wave of recruits, the company will continue the same talent attraction initiatives in 2020.
The need to increase the team appeared in the context of increasing the company’s investments during the previous year to over 4 million euros for the development of new products, as well as existing ones, with an emphasis on integrating AI, IoT and chatbot technologies in Charisma business applications. As the investment had to be sustained also from the human resources point of view, the company took on the challenge of hiring over 100 developers and consultants in six months, between May and November 2019. Thus, the local TotalSoft team has integrated new software engineers midlevel and senior citizens, with experience in .NET, C #, React JS technologies, experienced consultants in the fields of production, agriculture, leasing or retail, but also junior for the positions of developer, technical and business consultants.
“We looked for colleagues who follow the same values and then we guide ourselves at the level of organization, namely innovation, team spirit, curiosity, orientation to problem solving, integrity and transparency, care for clients and colleagues. On the other hand, we have provided them with a favorable environment for their professional development, with emphasis on well-defined trainings and constant involvement from the mentors that facilitated their integration into teams and business ”, said Cosmin Ciobanu, HR Director TotalSoft.
Most of the new colleagues, about 60 juniors employed in the positions of developer or technical and business consultants, came from the programs dedicated to the young graduates of the faculty and the masters, carried out under the name TotalSoft Academy. In 2019, two such programs were organized, lasting two months each. In this case, the recruitment process is a constant one, many graduates being integrated into teams at the end of the program, where they develop with the permanent support and encouragement of the mentors. In the next three years, the talent needs will be largely ensured from such programs and traineeships.
Over 40 people were attracted to the company through recruitment programs, thought of as unique projects for finding and attracting talent.
