The round started by Ziora is supported by the founders and a group of business angels, jointly committing EUR 40,000, while the targeted amount is EUR 140.000.

The platform was founded in 2016 by an initial group of three: Marius, Irinel and Catalin. Marius with a background in sales, especially the beauty sector, had a vision for a product that at that moment was simply a ruled notebook. This old-fashioned notebook was the epicenter of day-to-day activity in most of the country’s beauty salons. The team met and decided to develop an application to make the ruled notebook obsolete. Marius Chirita manages the business side of Ziora as the CEO, and with his experience in marketing and IT project management has a clear strategy on how to further develop Ziora.

Today, the company has two more co-founders, Lucian and Silviu. Lucian, the mentor of the group sincespring 2020, steered the already functional application into what will become a success. Lucian is a versed IT investor with several successful ventures both in Romania and in France, where he is currently based. In his 25+ years of business development and management he amassed both the knowledge and also the mindset of an entrepreneur, making him an excellent match with the rest of the team.
