Deloitte Romania assisted Digmatix, the regional leader in Microsoft Business Applications solutions, with its entry on the local market through the acquisition of Elian Solutions
Deloitte Romania assisted Digmatix, a Latvia-based regional provider of Microsoft Business Applications solutions, in the acquisition of Elian Solutions, one of Romania’s leading companies specialized in the implementation of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solution, and part of the Bittnet Systems Group.
The transaction marks Digmatix’s entry on the Romanian market and the consolidation of its position as a regional leader in the delivery and implementation of Microsoft Business Applications solutions.
“This acquisition directly executes our strategy. We have been expanding our Microsoft Business Applications footprint across CEE, and we knew that entering Romania correctly meant finding the strongest team already operating there. Elian Solutions is exactly that – top Microsoft-recommended partner in Romania, 250+ implementations, certified localization, and strong revenue growth for last couple of years. Integrating their team into Digmatix strengthens every Business Central engagement we take on across the group. And for our 1,000+ existing clients, it means a materially more complete Microsoft Business Applications partner. We are raising the ceiling on what we can deliver,” said Rinalds Sluckis, Group CEO of Digmatix.
Deloitte Romania’s multidisciplinary team provided financial and tax due diligence services and assisted the client throughout the negotiation and signing of the share purchase agreement. The financial advisory team involved in the project considered of Radu Dumitrescu, Advisory Partner-in-Charge, Vlad Bălan, Director, Laura Necșuliu, Manager, Laurențiu Popescu, Senior Associate, and Bianca Tămăslăcaru, Associate. From the Tax practice, the project team included Alexandra Pană-Băcescu, Manager, Ștefania Samson, Senior Consultant, Laura Bobar, Director, and Roberta Roman, Consultant.
“This transaction once again confirms the attractiveness of Romania’s IT industry for strategic investors, as well as the ability of local companies to develop expertise and solutions with regional relevance. We are pleased to have supported Digmatix in a highly complex project involving the integration of two entities – Elian Solutions and its subsidiary, Elian Development – and to have contributed to a transaction that lays the foundation for the development of platforms with an increasingly broad footprint across Central and Eastern Europe,” said Radu Dumitrescu, Advisory Partner-in-Charge, Deloitte Romania.
Digmatix, the regional leading provider of Microsoft Business Applications solutions, operates in several countries in Central and Eastern Europe, serving customers in more than 40 countries.
