Record Edition of GoTech World: Over 15,100 Visitors, 100 Exhibiting Companies, 135 Speakers, and 11 Stages
The 14th edition of GoTech World, the largest B2B expo-conference for IT and digital solutions in Central and Eastern Europe, concluded two intensive days of content, live demonstrations, and applied innovation. The event brought together 15,121 visitors, over 100 exhibiting companies, 135 speakers, and 11 thematic stages dedicated to the future of technology and digital transformation. This year’s concept was built around the fusion between Artificial Intelligence and robotics, a pillar that is redefining the new era of intelligent automation.
“GoTech World 2025 served as an honest snapshot of technology that no longer belongs to the future, but to the present. From AI applications that optimize complex processes to robotic systems that turn these decisions into real actions, this year’s edition demonstrated the industry’s maturity and the need for strong partnerships between companies, institutions, and technology leaders. We are witnessing an accelerated shift, and GoTech World remains the place where this transformation gains direction, clarity, and applicability”, stated Alexandru Măxineanu, Managing Partner Universum Expo.
An international line-up that connected technology with business
The 11 thematic stages hosted over 120 content sessions covering strategic topics for the business environment: Europe’s digital resilience, new cybersecurity paradigms, sustainability as a growth strategy, intelligent automation, software architectures, and the impact of AI on creative industries.

Top international speakers such as Kai Zenner (European Parliament), Hartmut König (Adobe), Prof. Dr. Kathrin Kind (Cognizant), J. Nicole Dove (Riot Games), Niek Palm (Philips), and Sasha Denisov (EPAM Systems) delivered advanced perspectives on the trends shaping the future of the digital economy and on how companies can turn technology into a competitive advantage.
The special highlight of this year’s edition, The Robot Cellist, offered the audience a unique demonstration of the fusion between art and technology. International artist Fredrik Gran introduced on stage the cello-playing robot, which performed alongside the Romanian quartet Symphactory Strings. Also on the Main Stage, Danit Peleg, a pioneer of 3D-printed fashion, spoke about the evolution of garment design created through printing technology and wore her own creations, illustrating how technology is reshaping contemporary fashion.
Technologies that defined the exhibition area – from advanced cybersecurity to creative AI applications
The exhibition area brought together over 100 companies showcasing technologies primarily focused on operational efficiency, automation, and digital security. Among them were global and regional leaders such as Orange Business — the main partner of this edition — Genpact, Trendyol, CertSign, AD/01, BCR, Google, Electronic Arts Romania, SAP, Măgurele Science Park, and many other brands that define the standards of the industries in which they operate.
Companies showcased advanced applied AI solutions, sovereign cloud platforms, modern cybersecurity systems, process automation technologies, and tools for supply chain optimization, intelligent data analysis, personalized digital experiences, and enhanced organizational performance.
Together, these solutions outlined a clear perspective on the direction of the digital economy, demonstrating that technology is becoming an essential component across all organizational levels. At the same time, AI and robotics are emerging as central pillars of an industry evolving at an unprecedented pace.
GoTech World 2025 also hosted the second edition of The Smart Home Summit, the most important regional event dedicated to home and building automation technologies. Industry leaders presented solutions for energy efficiency, security, intelligent control, and HVAC, while companies such as TP-Link, Aqara, Legrand, TechCuisine Smart Home, RPG Security, Tado, Tedee, and KNX Romania offered live demonstrations and hands-on workshops.
At the same time, GoTech hosted the first edition of the Tax & Technology Summit, organized in partnership with the Chamber of Tax Consultants — an event featuring top experts and speakers in the field, including the Minister of Finance. The summit aimed to promote innovative software solutions and products dedicated to professionals in the fiscal, entrepreneurial, and tech sectors, contributing to the modernization and increased efficiency of activities within these domains.
With this year’s results, GoTech World strengthens its position as a regional innovation hub and a key platform for professionals, business leaders, and companies shaping the future of the digital economy.
