Eviden Romania transforms Timișoara in a digital city

Eviden, a recognized leader in the field of digital solutions, part of Atos Group, announces the official launch of the digital transformation project of the interaction of citizens and the business environment with the institutions of Timișoara City Hall.

Through this project, Eviden Romania brings to Timișoara City Hall its expertise in digitization, after taking full responsibility for the development, implementation, migration and integration of infrastructure solutions (Public Cloud), cyber security (Security & DevSecOps) and application development for communication between the Public Administration and citizens.

Eviden specialists have implemented a portal and a unique virtual counter for individuals and legal entities, which can be accessed using their digital identity. Thus, access to essential services is done with a single click, the site offering a personalized experience to each user. The portal connects services such as online payments, real estate records, community notifications and document storage, thus simplifying interaction with local government.

This strategic partnership with Timișoara City Hall marks a significant step towards realizing the vision of a smart, sustainable and accessible city for all the inhabitants of Timișoara and beyond.

The project, financed by POCA funds, involved the development of an easily accessible digital platform for citizens, the architecture of the IT infrastructure and the implementation of cyber security solutions. In 2024, Eviden will remain with Timișoara City Hall to ensure the continuous development of the digital platform. The Eviden team involved in this project is made up of IT experts, underlining Eviden’s commitment to talent development and promoting an organizational culture based on innovation and excellence.
