The winners of the 11 scholarships from this edition will be announced on November 15"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>ANIS, the Employers&#8217; Association of the Software and Services Industry, today announces the finalists for the sixth edition of the ANIS Scholarships program. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Out of 59 projects registered, an absolute record since the beginning of the program, 24 projects qualified for the final evaluation stage, proposed by a number of 25 university assistants, lecturers and PhD students. The winners of the 11 scholarships worth 5,000 euros each will be announced on November 15, during the ANIS 2023 Scholarship Gala event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Here are the finalist projects from the 7 categories within the program.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\"><strong>Artificial Intelligence &amp; Machine Learning<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Tudor Alexandru Ileni<\/strong>, PhD student at Babe\u0219 Bolyai University with the &#8220;Innovative product design&#8221; program <\/li><li><strong>Mihai Dogariu<\/strong>, lecturer at the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA BUCHAREST, with the &#8220;Computer Vision III&#8221; program <\/li><li><strong>Vlad Cristian Miclea<\/strong>, Head of Works at the Technical University of Cluj, with the &#8220;Machine Learning&#8221; program <\/li><li><strong>Gabriel Gu\u021bu-Robu<\/strong>, Head of Works at &#8220;Politehnica&#8221; University in Bucharest, with &#8220;Adaptive\/collaborative systems&#8221; <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The AI&amp;ML category will benefit from two scholarships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Big Data <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Codrin \u0218tefan E\u0219anu<\/strong>, associate university assistant &#8211; PhD student at the University &#8220;Al. Ioan Cuza&#8221; from Iasi, with the program &#8220;Big Data: persistence systems and data processing languages&#8221; <\/li><li><strong>Adrian Spataru<\/strong>, university lecturer at the West University of Timi\u0219oara, with the &#8220;Big Data Technologies&#8221; program <\/li><li><strong>Mihaela \u021aiplea<\/strong>, Head of Works at &#8220;D\u0103n\u0103rea de Jos&#8221; University in Galati with the &#8220;Big Data Analytics&#8221; program <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A scholarship will be awarded in the Big Data category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Cybersecurity <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Rare\u0219 Mihail Visalom<\/strong>, PhD student at the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA BUCHAREST, with the &#8220;Security of Information Systems&#8221; program <\/li><li><strong>C\u0103t\u0103lin Adrian Iordache<\/strong>, PhD student at the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA BUCHAREST, with the &#8220;Applied Cryptography&#8221; program <\/li><li><strong>Larisa-Milena Piora\u0219-\u021aimbolma\u0219<\/strong>, associate teaching staff at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, with the &#8220;Quantum Information Bases&#8221; program <\/li><li><strong>Adrian Alexandrescu<\/strong>, head of works at the Technical University &#8220;Gh. Asachi&#8221; from Iasi, with the program &#8220;Web Security \/ SSC.IA.203&#8221; <\/li><li><strong>Darius Gali\u0219<\/strong>, doctoral assistant at the Western University of Timi\u0219oara, with the &#8220;Cryptography and Information Security&#8221; program Three scholarships will be awarded in the Cybersecurity category.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Internet of Things (IoT) <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Ana-Maria Dr\u0103gulinescu<\/strong>, Head of Works at the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA BUCHAREST, with the project &#8220;Microcontrollers, Microprocessors (MM)&#8221; <\/li><li><strong>Florea P\u00ee\u021bu<\/strong>, doctoral student at the University of Bucharest, for the work &#8220;The Internet of Objects&#8221; <\/li><li><strong>Tranc\u0103 Dumitru Cristian<\/strong>, head of works at the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA BUCHAREST, with the project &#8220;Data acquisition systems&#8221; <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In the IoT category, a scholarship will be awarded. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Blockchain <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Darius Gali\u0219<\/strong>, doctoral assistant at the Western University of Timi\u0219oara, with the project &#8220;Blockchain technology between ideology and challenge&#8221; <\/li><li><strong>Augustin C\u0103t\u0103lin Iap\u0103<\/strong>, lecturer at the Politehnica University of Timi\u0219oara, with the project &#8220;Logic and discrete structures \/ DF&#8221; <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A scholarship will be awarded in the Blockchain category. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Virtual Reality <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Elena-Mirela \u0218te\u021bco<\/strong>, PhD student at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, with the paper &#8220;Electronic Devices&#8221; <\/li><li><strong>Andrea Simion<\/strong>, PhD student at Babe\u0219-Bolyai University, with the &#8220;Virtual Instrumentation&#8221; project <\/li><li><strong>Dana Florentina Manolache<\/strong>, doctoral assistant at the University of Bucharest, with the work &#8220;Virtual and Augmented Reality&#8221; <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A scholarship will be awarded in the Virtual Reality category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Tech for All<\/span><\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 <strong>Mihaela Georgiana B\u0103lan and Paul Pintilie<\/strong>, university lecturers at the &#8220;George Enescu&#8221; National University of Arts Ia\u0219i, together with Emanuela Izabela Vieriu, university assistant at the same university, Faculty of Performance, Composition and Theoretical Music Studies, with the works &#8220;Musical forms and analyzes \u201d, \u201cHarmony\u201d and \u201cCounterpoint\u201d, based on the same curricular innovation <strong>C\u0103t\u0103lina Chinie<\/strong>, PhD university lecturer at ASE Bucharest, with the paper &#8220;Enterprise Transformations in the Digital Economy&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Marius Iulian Cluci<\/strong>, associate professor at &#8220;Al.Ioan Cuza&#8221; University in Iasi, with the &#8220;Software tools for Big Data and Machine Learning&#8221; project<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>George Prundaru<\/strong>, lecturer at Babe\u0219-Bolyai University, with &#8220;User Experience Design&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two scholarships will be awarded in the Tech for All category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In the previous editions of the ANIS Scholarships program, of the 152 projects registered, 56 obtained sponsorships totaling 280,000 euros. This year&#8217;s edition is made with the support of Adobe, Bitdefender, Booking Holdings, Deutsche Bank, Endava, Eviden, Softbinator Technologies, Wipro. The ANIS Scholarship Gala where the winners will be announced is supported by Vodafone and Mastercard.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About ANIS \u2013 Employers&#8217; Association of the Software and IT Services Industry <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>25 years of activity in Romania. Established in 1998, ANIS represents the interests of Romanian IT companies and supports the development of the local software and services industry, the growth of both companies involved in outsourcing projects, and those that generate intellectual property through the creation of products. Over 170 members. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Within ANIS are represented both companies with Romanian or foreign capital, small or multinational, with headquarters in all the major IT centers in the country, which ensures the association representativeness at the national level. ANIS members generate a significant number of highly qualified jobs in society.
