{"id":8963,"date":"2023-05-11T08:25:44","date_gmt":"2023-05-11T08:25:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/outsourcing-today.ro\/?p=8963"},"modified":"2023-05-11T08:25:44","modified_gmt":"2023-05-11T08:25:44","slug":"among-c-suite-leaders-ai-is-top-digital-priority-in-the-path-to-operational-resilience-finds-accenture-study","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/outsourcing-today.ro\/?p=8963","title":{"rendered":"Among C-suite Leaders, AI is top digital priority in the path to operational resilience, finds Accenture study"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Nearly three-fourths (73%) of companies are prioritizing AI over all other digital investments and with the immediate focus on improving operational resilience in an unprecedented environment, according to a study by Accenture (NYSE:ACN).<br>\u00a0<br>The report,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.accenture.com\/us-en\/insights\/operations\/reinventing-enterprise-operations?c=acn_glb_valueoffuture-rmediarelations_13416390&amp;n=mrl_0323\">Reinventing Enterprise Operations<\/a>, found 90% of business leaders are applying AI to tackle aspects of operational resilience, which spans data-driven capabilities, such as finance (89%) and supply chain (88%), to experimentation with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.accenture.com\/us-en\/insights\/technology\/generative-ai?c=acn_glb_largelanguagemomediarelations_13427684&amp;n=mrl_0323\">generative AI<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-style-default\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/outsourcing-today.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/Accenture_01-1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8966\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br>\u00a0<br>The findings assessed organizations across six measures of operational maturity: AI, data, processes, talent, collaboration and stakeholder experiences. While only a few (9%) companies achieved maturity on all fronts, those that did averaged 1.4X higher operating margins over peers, while driving 42% faster innovation, 34% better sustainability and 30% higher satisfaction scores.<br>\u00a0<br><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">\u00a0\u201cAll CEOs are under pressure to digitize faster, put more resilience in the business, and find new pathways to growth,\u201d said\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.accenture.com\/us-en\/about\/leadership\/yusuf-tayob\">Yusuf Tayob<\/a>, group chief executive of Accenture Operations. \u201cThe right investments in technology while advancing talent, data and processes is what drives a new performance frontier.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>With a talent strategy that mirrors data and digital maturity, enterprises averaged nearly three-times higher productivity when prioritizing training and specialized skills to address talent needs. This was further echoed by investments being made in new ways of working (cited by 94%) and the 90% of (COO, CIO, CHRO) respondents who plan to increase specialized and technical talent over the next three years.<br>\u00a0<br>To fully capture the opportunity, leaders should take these five actions to evolve operations and achieve a new performance frontier:<br>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Humanize AI experiences<\/strong>: explore new use cases to enhance experience-related outcomes and simplify relationships with employees and customers.<\/li><li><strong>Data decisiveness<\/strong>: define a clear strategy that governs how data is created, collected and enriched, encouraging debate and removing biases to capture the most effective insights to guide decision-making.<\/li><li><strong>Innovate processes<\/strong>: visualize \u201cas-is\u201d processes, apply AI-driven insights to discover new efficiencies, while simulating scenario changes to optimize business process improvements.<\/li><li><strong>Agile workforce:&nbsp;<\/strong>create agility within workforce strategy; empower employees with a choice of technology tools to meet needs.&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>Take a 360\u00b0 approach<\/strong>: drive value creation holistically, building it from the ground up and across all functions by using data-driven insights, from customers, employees and other ecosystem partners.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the Research<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the report, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.accenture.com\/us-en\/insights\/operations\/reinventing-enterprise-operations?c=acn_glb_valueoffuture-rmediarelations_13416390&amp;n=mrl_0323\">Reinventing Enterprise Operations<\/a>,\u201d Accenture surveyed 1,700 executives, 72% of whom were C-suite, across 12 countries and 15 industries.&nbsp; The latest research assessed the progression of business operations maturity \u2014each level underpinned by more advanced ways of working with AI, data and cloud \u2014and (where relevant) compared with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.accenture.com\/in-en\/insights\/operations\/future-ready-operations\">2021 findings<\/a>.
