DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION – A ROADMAP TOWARDS A SMARTER SOCIETY<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

This year\u2019s edition of Sibiu Innovation Days is hopefully the first episode of an equally successful series of events that will consolidate the position of Sibiu City as an emerging innovation center, with impact in shaping the economic and social vitality of the entire region.<\/strong><\/p>\n

During the two days of the conference we will be exploring, with the guidance and expertise of our invited speakers, the process of digital transformation and how this can help our community of students, researchers, business and decision makers to add value to everything we are doing. The event is looking to strengthen the collaboration among all these stakeholders while also improving the way in which we understand and use the innovative services available in Transylvania and the Sibiu region.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The conference will also highlight current research and development concerns of companies in the area, will bring increased visibility for Hasso-Plattner Knowledge Transfer Institute at the \u201cLucian Blaga\u201d University of Sibiu, and will create new opportunities for collaboration among those participating.<\/div>\n

Sibiu Innovation Days has emerged from the desire to bring closer academia, businesses and decision makers. The event closely follows the successful model of\u00a0Cluj Innovation Days<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0, which has proven over the years to be a platform among all the main stakeholders in the Cluj wider region interested in bringing innovation in many aspects of their activities.<\/p>\n

The first edition of Sibiu Innovation Days is co-organized by\u00a0University Lucian Blaga in Sibiu<\/a><\/strong>, (through\u00a0Hasso-Plattner Knowledge Transfer Institute<\/strong><\/a>) and by\u00a0Cluj IT Cluster<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and will be held during\u00a0November 26th and 27th<\/strong>, in conjunction with the\u00a0\u201cThe Researchers Night 2020\u201d<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The format of the event will include three sections:<\/p>\n
