Forvis Mazars Group has appointed Laurent Inard as its first Group chief AI officer (CAIO), creating a new leadership position focused on the partnership\u2019s artificial intelligence strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The appointment took effect in September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Based in Paris, Inard will lead the development and implementation of the Group\u2019s AI plans. His remit also includes overseeing data quality, skills architecture and the responsible AI framework.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The role is intended to support the use and further development of AI across Forvis Mazars\u2019 international service lines as part of its broader transformation programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Inard has worked at the firm for three decades, including 20 years as a partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His experience spans financial audit, valuations, data and advisory services, and he has worked on assessing and applying emerging technologies to client requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Alongside, Inard will also remain Head of R&D in France, a position he has held for eight years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The move follows other senior appointments within the Group\u2019s transformation function, including Rachel Dickson\u2019s recent arrival as group chief information officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
