SAP Romania, the local subsidiary of the global leader in enterprise applications and Business AI, announces the inauguration of a new office space in Timisoara, as a result of the growth of the local team and the high occupancy rate of the existing headquarters.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The expansion was achieved by arranging an additional floor on the same campus where the company already operates, and the decision came in response to the increase in the number of employees in recent years, which led to an increasingly intensive use of the existing space. Given that the available workspaces no longer covered the needs of the team, the project aimed to adapt the capacity of the headquarters to its current size, as well as to improve the conditions for individual activities and collaboration between colleagues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, SAP Romania has over 1200 employees in its three offices in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and Timisoara, of which over 300 work in Timisoara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SAP offices in Timisoara, approx. 3500 sqm and a capacity of 282 workspaces<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

By arranging the new space, with an area of 1,530 square meters, the SAP headquarters in Timisoara reaches a total area of 3,474 square meters and a capacity of 282 workspaces, compared to 162 previously. The expansion allows a better distribution of employees in the available space and responds to the high occupancy rate recorded before the start of the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the 120 additional offices, the new floor includes 14 meeting rooms of various sizes, a room dedicated to design thinking sessions, a Work Caf\u00e9 and relaxation areas, including a space for children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project was initiated in January 2026, and the landscaping works took place between April and July of this year. The new space became operational on August 3, when employees started using it, and the official inauguration took place on October 20, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through this expansion, SAP Romania continues to develop the office infrastructure in Timisoara, in line with the evolution of the local team and the need to provide employees with a flexible work environment, which facilitates collaboration and exchange of ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SAP Romania has one of the strongest Service Delivery teams in the region<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a presence in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and Timisoara, SAP Romania brings together over 1,200 employees and hosts one of the company’s strongest Service Delivery teams in Eastern Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the local market, SAP collaborates with over 700 active customers, the company supporting the digitization of organizations of different sizes, including small and medium-sized enterprises, which represent the majority of active companies in Romania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In parallel, SAP Romania invests in the development of future generations of IT specialists through partnerships with universities across the country. These include the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest, the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, the West University of Timisoara, the Polytechnic University of Timisoara and the “Ioan Slavici” University of Timisoara, facilitating students’ access to practical knowledge and experience relevant to the labor market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
