On the 6th<\/sup> of July, the British Romanian Chamber of Commerce (BRCC) hosted one of its flagship summer events, the BRCC Garden Party. Inspired by the timeless charm of a traditional British country club, this year’s edition took place for the first time at UNDA, whose lakeside setting provided the ideal surroundings for one of the Chamber’s most anticipated annual gatherings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event welcomed over 120 guests, including BRCC members, business leaders, entrepreneurs, diplomats, representatives of the public sector and partners, bringing together the British Romanian business community for an evening dedicated to meaningful conversations, professional networking and strengthening business relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The British Romanian Chamber of Commerce was honored by the presence of representatives of the British Embassy in Romania at this year’s Garden Party. During the opening session, His Excellency Giles Portman, British Ambassador to Romania and Honorary President of BRCC, addressed guests: \u201cIt was a pleasure to join the BRCC Summer Party and see so many members of the British-Romanian business community gathered together. My congratulations to Robert Uzuna, the Board and the BRCC team for bringing together another excellent event. A warm welcome to Felicia Alexandru as the new Executive Director and congratulations to the new Board members as they take up their roles. I would also like to thank those concluding their service to the Chamber for their valuable contribution over the years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The UK-Romania economic relationship continues to go from strength to strength, and BRCC should play an important role in supporting British businesses, fostering partnerships and creating new opportunities for growth. We will continue to bring together businesses, institutions and government partners to promote trade and investment, strengthen commercial links, and deepen the economic partnership between the United Kingdom and Romania.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Welcoming guests on behalf of the Chamber, Robert Uzun\u0103, Chairman of the British Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Vice President for Corporate Affairs of Ursus Breweries, highlighted the importance of creating opportunities for the business community to come together, exchange ideas and build lasting partnerships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201eBilateral trade between Romania and the United Kingdom reached a record high of \u00a310.3 billion in 2025, marking a 4.9% increase compared to the previous year. This is a strong signal of the growing confidence, resilience and long-term potential of the economic partnership between our two countries. As a Chamber, our mission is to support and accelerate this momentum by creating opportunities for dialogue, collaboration and business development,\u201d said Robert Uzun\u0103.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inspired by this year’s Country Club theme, guests embraced a cocktail attire dress code complemented by a white accessory. The evening opened with live music, followed by jazz performances that accompanied the networking sessions throughout the evening. Guests were welcomed with a carefully selected prosecco by Casa de Vinuri Cotnari, Official Wine Partner of the event. Throughout the evening, Casa de Vinuri Cotnari offered a curated selection of wines that complemented the occasion and contributed to the relaxed atmosphere of the Garden Party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme continued with networking sessions that encouraged dialogue among members and guests, followed by a raffle featuring prizes offered by BRCC partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The warm summer evening was perfectly complemented by beverages from Ursus Breweries and gelato from Alpin 57 Lux, offering guests a welcome refreshment throughout the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Complementing this year’s Country Club theme, Zea et Sia welcomed guests to its dedicated stand, showcasing a selection of accessories that reflected the style and character of the occasion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As one of the Chamber’s flagship events, the BRCC Garden Party continues to reflect the Chamber’s commitment to supporting the British Romanian business community by creating opportunities for dialogue, collaboration and the development of lasting professional relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
