The international certification validates Zitec’s commitment to transparency, accountability and positive impact on customers, the community and the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zitec, a leader in IT solutions and digital transformation, has obtained B Corp certification, an international recognition of the company’s commitment to ethics and transparency in business. Awarded following a rigorous evaluation process under the B Impact Assessment, certification is awarded to companies that meet rigorous standards on social and environmental impact, governance, transparency and accountability towards stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The B Corp certification confirms the values that guide us every day and helps us integrate sustainability more clearly into the company’s strategy. We want this approach to contribute to increasing the standards of responsibility and ethics in the IT industry in Romania,” says Alex L\u0103pu\u0219an, Co-CEO and co-founder of Zitec.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, B Corp includes more than 10,700 companies in 104 countries and 162 industries1. With a strong global footprint, the B Corp movement has gained traction in Europe, and interest in this type of certification continues to grow, with significant growth among young people and sustainability-conscious consumers. Nearly 58% of consumers say their purchasing choices are influenced by companies’ responsibility commitments, and B Corp plays an important role in this selection process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In partnership with the Ministry of Environment, Zitec has developed an AI-based solution that automatically analyzes images to identify illegal timber shipments, reducing processing time from minutes to seconds and supporting the protection of Romania’s forests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among other Romanian companies already certified, there are organizations from various industries, such as Danone, French Revolution, Opella, Nespresso, Confident Communication, Promateris, OTOTO, IPANOMI, Pastel, Natural. B Corp certification is valid for a period of three years, after which the company will go through a recertification process to maintain its status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
