Through Air Hack Iași, we want to provide the tech community with access to real challenges in airport activity and explore solutions that can contribute to a safer, smarter airport better connected to the needs of the future. For us, this event is not only a competition, but also an initiative through which we honor the Centenary of the first commercial flight to Iasi, connecting the 100 years of history and innovation with the vision of future generations.” – Romeo Vatră, General Manager of Iasi Airport.

“At Orange, we believe that innovation becomes relevant when it responds to real challenges and can be tested in concrete contexts. Air Hack Iași brings together the technology, connectivity and creativity of the tech community in a field with a major impact: air mobility and airport infrastructure. We are happy to support a format that encourages experimentation, collaboration and development of digital solutions with applied potential, including by capitalizing on telecom technologies and APIs that can contribute to building the smart airports of the future.” – Ana Ciobanu, Startup Programs Manager Orange Fab

“For Fab Lab Iași, Air Hack Iași is a natural continuation of our mission to connect technology, applied education and the real needs of the community. An airport is one of the most complex urban and regional infrastructures, and the fact that we can bring young people, developers, entrepreneurs and specialists here to work on concrete challenges shows that innovation must not remain only in the area of ideas, but can be tested directly where it produces impact.
