NGOs can submit their projects by April 19th, 2026.<\/span><\/li><li><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">To date, 153 projects in Romania have benefited from financial support offered by the Foundation, amounting to 900,000 USD.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">TELUS Digital Romania Community Board<\/span><\/strong> remains dedicated to supporting local communities by offering non-governmental organizations in Romania the chance to access funding for their initiatives in education, health, and environmental sectors. The Foundation has launched the application period for the first funding round of its yearly program, designating 50,000 USD to advance innovative projects aimed at creating meaningful community impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Funding is exclusively available to non-governmental organizations legally registered in Romania. Proposed initiatives must be completed within the subsequent 6 months, directly serve children, young people, or their families as primary beneficiaries, and incorporate social innovation and technology to solve challenges identified within the communities these organizations serve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Interested NGOs can submit their proposals of projects by April 19th through an application form available on the website <span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">https:\/\/www.telus.com\/en\/social-impact\/giving-back\/community-grants\/romania. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When writing their application, organizations are encouraged to present details related to the identified problem, the way in which the proposed project will provide an innovative solution, through concrete actions, as well as the expected measurable results. Depending on the number of beneficiaries and the complexity of the proposed projects, NGOs can request grants up to 10,000 USD. The Foundation\u2019s Board will evaluate the proposals and select the winning projects by the end of June 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, 2026, marks a significant milestone: ten years of TELUS Digital Romania Foundation&#8217;s steadfast commitment to supporting local communities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 2016, the Foundation has supported 153 projects in Romania through grants totaling 900,000 USD, transforming the lives of over 61,000 direct beneficiaries. In 2025, ten organizations benefited from funding from the Foundation: Autism Association Baia Mare, Culturalis Association, Eliberare Association, ECOTECA Association, Social Incubator Association, &#8220;Caravana cu Medici&#8221; Association &#8211; Ia\u0219i Branch, Carusel Association, Utility Dog Club Association, D\u0103ruie\u0219te Aripi Association, and Good Life Performers Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Community Board grants program, combined with the annual volunteer initiative TELUS Days of Giving and other social initiatives conducted throughout the year, represent core efforts by TELUS Digital to honor its &#8220;We Give Where We Live&#8221; pledge and strengthen the communities where its employees live and work.
