The applications were submitted by academics from 48 different faculties, from 20 universities in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Iasi, Timi\u0219oara, Sibiu, Gala\u021bi, Bra\u0219ov, Oradea, Constan\u021ba and Ploiesti. The most programs &#8211; 21 &#8211; were listed in the &#8220;Tech For All&#8221; category, by professors who introduced technology and innovated in the courses and labs they teach in non-technical faculty. 15 innovative courses out of the 67 proposed for judging received scholarships from ANIS member companies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The applications were evaluated by an independent jury based on the four evaluation criteria: innovation, structure, method and continuity. In the 7 editions of the ANIS Scholarships program, more than 270 projects were registered, and the total value of the 82 scholarships awarded amounts to 410,000 euros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year&#8217;s edition is made with the support of the following companies: Adobe Romania, Bitdefender, Booking Holdings, DB Global Technology Center, Endava, Eviden Romania, GlobalLogic Romania, HARMAN International Romania, Orange Services, Regina Maria, Societe Generale Global Solution Centre, SoftServe Romania . The National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA BUCHAREST is an institutional partner in the ANIS 2024 Scholarships. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">&#8220;The fact that year after year we have more and more applications in the ANIS Scholarships program, with an increasingly high quality, proves that the university environment has understood that innovation is the only way to transform Romania. In these seven years since the inauguration of the Scholarships, we have managed to place the industry and the university environment at the same table, but also to support the alignment of the curriculum taught in universities with what is required in the labor market, not only in the IT industry because, we know very well , technology is present in every field&#8221;, <strong>says Corina Vasile, Executive Director of ANIS.<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\"><strong>Artificial Intelligence &amp; Machine Learning category<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Adrian-Paul Botezatu, university assistant at the Faculty of Automation and Computers within the Technical University &#8220;Gh. Asachi&#8221; from Ia\u0219i for the project &#8220;Artificial vision systems&#8221; <\/li><li>Ana-Sabina Uban, lecturer at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at &#8220;Universitatea Bucharest&#8221;, who enrolled the &#8220;LLMs &amp; cognition (Large models of language and human cognition)&#8221; project. The two scholarships were awarded by Adobe Romania and Endava Romania. Finalists in the same category were also: <\/li><li>Ioana-Florina Coita, lecturer at the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Oradea, for the &#8220;Finance&#8221; project <\/li><li>Horia-Alexandru Modran, Head of Works at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Transilvania University in Bra\u0219ov, for the project &#8220;Data Mining and Machine Learning Techniques with Applications in Cyber \u200b\u200bSecurity&#8221;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\"><strong>Big Data category<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Ciprian-Octavian Truic\u0103, head of works at the Faculty of Automation and Computers at the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest, with the &#8220;Data Mining for Financial Informatics&#8221; project <\/li><li>Ciprian-Mihai Ceau\u0219escu, doctoral assistant at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at the &#8220;Universitatea Bucharest&#8221;, for the &#8220;Machine Learning Laboratory&#8221; project. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Finalist in the same category was also: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alexandru Dinu, university assistant at the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology at the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest, who entered the project &#8220;Statistical models and methods in information engineering&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The two scholarships were awarded by Adobe Romania and SoftServe Romania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\"><strong>Cloud Computing category<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Radu-Corneliu Marin, head of work at the Faculty of Automation and Computers at the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest, with the &#8220;Development of Decentralized Applications&#8221; project The scholarship was awarded by the Deutsche Bank Global Technology Center. Cybersecurity category <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 S\u00e1ndor Kolumb\u00e1n, lecturer at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at Babe\u0219-Bolyai University in Cluj, with the &#8220;IT Security&#8221; project <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Lucian-\u0218tefan \u0218uteu-Sz\u00f6ll\u0151si, lecturer at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at Babe\u0219-Bolyai University in Cluj, who signed up the &#8220;Introduction to cryptography&#8221; project <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Giorgiana-Violeta Vl\u0103sceanu, lecturer at the Faculty of Automation and Computers at the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest, with the project &#8220;Privacy protection technologies&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\"><strong>Finalists in the same category were also<\/strong>: <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Alexandru Chi\u0219, PhD student at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Transilvania University in Bra\u0219ov, for the project &#8220;Cybersecurity incident management&#8221; <\/li><li>Alin-Bogdan Popa, assistant professor at the Faculty of Automation and Computers at the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest, with the &#8220;Quantum Communications and Cryptography&#8221; project Two of the scholarships in this category were awarded by Bitdefender and one by HARMAN International Romania.
