{"id":11581,"date":"2024-07-15T10:44:46","date_gmt":"2024-07-15T10:44:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/outsourcing-today.ro\/?p=11581"},"modified":"2024-07-15T10:44:46","modified_gmt":"2024-07-15T10:44:46","slug":"bmw-opens-it-solutions-center-in-cluj","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/outsourcing-today.ro\/?p=11581","title":{"rendered":"BMW opens IT solutions center in Cluj"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>BMW Group is expanding its global network of IT and software centers by opening a new location in Cluj-Napoca, in partnership with NTT DATA.&nbsp;The joint venture will double its workforce to 250 experts by the end of the year.&nbsp;In the long term, the goal is to reach over a thousand employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">\u201cBMW TechWorks Romania joins a global network of IT centers that already includes locations in Germany, South Africa, the USA, Portugal and China,\u201d\u00a0<strong>says Ralf Waltram, Vice President of the BMW Group.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-style-default\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"523\" height=\"468\" src=\"https:\/\/outsourcing-today.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/bmw1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11583\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Current Projects in Cluj<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Connected Procurement<\/strong>: Complex supply chains and control systems require integrated IT systems.<\/li><li><strong>Digital Shopfloor<\/strong>: Modern production IT as a core element of BMW iFactory, BMW Group\u2019s intelligent production program.<\/li><li><strong>Direct Sales Model<\/strong>: Development of central IT components for the implementation of BMW and MINI\u2019s direct sales model in Europe.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The focus is on developing and implementing IT solutions for the European region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The goal is to achieve a turnover in the tens of millions of euros by the end of the year, according to the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-style-default\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"424\" height=\"537\" src=\"https:\/\/outsourcing-today.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/bmw2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11584\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The center will develop IT projects and solutions for BMW to be used in production, development, human resources, sales, and financial services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BMW Group and NTT DATA have been collaborating worldwide on a wide range of projects for over 30 years. NTT DATA is a provider of software services and solutions.
