Find out the trends that will mark the IT industry at the first edition of the ANIS International Summit 2024, on May 8, 2024<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ANIS, the Employers’ Association of the Software and Services Industry, announces the organization, on May 8, 2024, <\/strong>of the first edition of the ANIS International Summit \/ “Shaping the Future of the IT Industry” , <\/a>an event that will bring together representatives of the most important local, regional and European institutions, but also of global and local IT companies and will provide a platform for debates in the current context of the technology industry, both in the area of regulations and technological trends. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than 300 participants at the highest level are expected to attend the event, from CEOs of global companies to successful Romanian entrepreneurs, representatives of international organizations such as CEE Digital Coalition, Business Europe, Digital Europe, of national ones, but and the Romanian authorities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This first edition will bring together more than 30 speakers – experts from the public and private sectors, both internationally and nationally – to debate technological developments and their impact on education, work and society. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apart from the networking opportunities that the participants will have during the ANIS International Summit, in the debates we will explore current topics such as: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 AI \u2013 European and transatlantic strategies and regulations.<\/span><\/strong> The development of generative artificial intelligence will transform many industries and have a major impact on education, work and daily routine. While technological advances often promise societal changes, the recent adoption of European AI regulations (AI Act) is still sparking heated debate. We will take this opportunity to look at how we leverage the benefits of AI while mitigating the associated risks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Innovation \u2013 How do we encourage and finance innovation?<\/span><\/strong> Innovation is the cornerstone of economic progress, influencing consumer well-being, employment, sustainability and overall societal prosperity. Also, innovation is essential for maintaining the competitiveness of Romania and the EU on global markets. On the occasion of the ANIS International Summit, we will discuss what needs to be done to encourage and finance innovation in Romania, but also in the European Union. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Cybersecurity \u2013 How to maintain IT security in today’s digital context. <\/strong><\/span>As technology advances and becomes an integral part of more and more fields of activity, the cybersecurity landscape becomes more complex. In this Bitdefender-sponsored panel, we will look at topics such as cyber resilience, strengthening defense capabilities, the cyber skills of citizens and companies across all economic sectors, and the critical role of public-private and cross-country collaboration. We will explore strategies for strengthening cyber security capability in an ever-evolving digital world. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Education & Work Panel \u2013 We educate for tomorrow. <\/strong>The landscape of human resources, in a continuous dynamic especially under the influence of emerging technologies, will suffer disruptions, but will also reveal opportunities for the labor market. We will debate, on this occasion, topics such as the future of the labor market, strategies for adapting education systems for the human resource of tomorrow, as certain roles are phased out and new ones appear. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ANIS International Summit will be followed by the ANIS Gala, an event during which the winners of the tenth edition of the “IT Industry Excellence Awards” competition will be announced. This year, we registered a record participation \u2013 85 applications from 54 companies. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
