The office is located in downtown Chicago, in 300 LaSalle N. and is a destination for Fortech and clients to investigate and advance their technological innovation agenda. Furthering its commitment to being a reliable software development provider for U.S. companies, Fortech launches its first sales and consultancy hub for the U.S. market in Chicago's architectural icon 300 N LaSalle. The investment is an indication that Fortech is a vetted choice for U.S businesses who are looking to unlock the value of applied technology.

"We have a history of over 15 years as tech partners for both large and small U.S. companies, for whom we act as an integrated part of their engineering ecosystem, under a flexible engagement model. About 45% of our portfolio is comprised of US clients. They come from a variety of sectors, including financial, healthcare, eCommerce, ITC and others," – said Călin Văduva, Fortech's CEO. "Setting an office in Chicago today is core to our strategy and reiterates our longstanding commitment to both our existing clients and to prospects in the region, who are considering potential technology partners."

New Office Broadens Business Scope and Offering

Located on the bank of the Chicago River, Fortech's hub is going to be home to a multidisciplinary team of the company's technology architects, consultants or client executives, who rotate on the ground to work with U.S. clients and prospects on all things digital.
"We have learned that any technological intervention involves changes at the client organization. Hence, we employ a consultative approach accompanying the client in their software buying process and through the software development lifecycle. Being on the ground in Chicago, will allow us to enhance communication with clients and prospects alike, all along the journey."– added Alex Dima, Vice President at Fortech.

The new hub becomes part of a delivery network comprised of 700 software engineers, distributed across four offices, located in Romania, Fortech's founding country. With headquarters in Cluj Napoca, and regional offices across the country in Iasi, Oradea, and Brasov, with the latest going operational in April 2019, the company reaches more than 200 clients worldwide. The Chicago hub will work in close cooperation with the larger organization from Romania.

Fortech's offer for the U.S. market spans the end-to-end spectrum of the software life-cycle from business analysis, UI/UX, application development, testing, DevOps, maintenance or project management.
The company fuels growth via a range of applied technologies including JAVA, .NET, C++, Python, Web, Mobile technologies. Investments in the latest high-value segments such as Cloud, AI, machine learning, IoT, or blockchain are also energizing Fortech's offering. Through the last 15 years, Fortech's team has acquired robust experience at all level of development from fast prototyping to building complex software platforms, system integrations or migrations.

"I'm excited to see Fortech establishing a footprint in Chicago. As an engineering and outsourcing consultant, I have witnessed a significantly stronger technical capability and higher quality delivery with Romanian teams, especially at Fortech. Their devotion to form elite engineering and project management teams has reset the bar on what U.S. businesses can expect in technology outsourcing. The multitude of Fortech's referenceable client successes validates that its capabilities and engagement models resonates with the U.S. clients." said Ron Herman, former client and currently owner at TeamFound. "Having a footprint in Chicago can only strengthen the quality of both, the service and the business relationship, that Fortech care so much about."
