Three Romanian tech startups on the stage of South East Europe Tech Tour 2019

30 tech start-up companies have been selected to participate and presents their products at the second edition of the South East Europe Tech Tour 2019 that will take place on 28-29 May in Bucharest, Romania and Sofia, Bulgaria.Among them, three have Romanian roots: Jobful and Smart Dreamers, both operating as recruitment platform and SymphoPay – a platform that enables the integration of card-based payments using the POS.

The winning companies will cover six sessions of technology during the event: Deeptech, Blockchain, Fintech, Mobility, Energy și Agritech.

On 28 of may, at Bucharest, will be present: Jobful (Mobility), Smart Dreamers (Deeptech) și SymphoPay (Fintech) din Romania, AlphaBlock (Cleantech) – Ungaria/Canada, Cardiomo Care (Deeptech) – USA/Moldova, Delfast Bikes (Mobility) – Ucraina, Eurosender (Mobility) – Luxemburg/Ucraina, Kray Technologies (Deeptech, Agritech) – Ucraina, Mediately (Deeptech) – Slovenia/Croația, PatentBot (Blockchain) – Ucraina, Shipnext (Deeptech, Blockchain) – USA/Ucraina, TakeTask (Deeptech) – Polonia/Slovacia, Take-A-Bot (Energy, Fintech) – Ungaria.

In the next day, on May 29, at Sofia, will present: Ampeco (Deeptech, Mobility), Colibra (Fintech, Blockchain), CryptoAPIs (Blockchain), Dronamics (Deeptech, Mobility), EnduroSat (Deeptech, Mobility), LogSentinel (Fintech, Blockchain), Nasekomo (Energy, Agritech), Notolytix (Fintech), WeiDex (Blockchain), toate din Bulgaria, ABC Software Development (Fintech, Blockchain) – Bosnia și Herțegovina, AdScanner (Deeptech) – Austria/Serbia, Agremo (Deeptech, Fintech), Campster (Deeptech), City Expert (Mobility) – Serbia, Elevate Global (Deeptech, Energy) – Macedonia, Istmos Tech (Deeptech, Agritech) și Yodiwo (Foodtech) din Grecia.

The compani9es have been selexcted among 150 applications by a selection committee formed by business leaders such as: Alexander Galitsky, Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Almaz Capital (USA) and Marius Ghenea, Investment Director, 3TS Capital Partners (Austria).

As in 2018, this year we embark on a Discovery Tour to a region that has great potential for high-tech entrepreneurship. We are very excited to showcase a region on the radar for many. The region of Eastern Europe is realizing one of the highest economic growth and also is a hotspot for thriving entrepreneurial ecosystems that have generated $5 billion in liquidity back to investors in the past few years.

The objectives of the Tech Tour are to:
1. Identify the next wave of top privately held companies from the South East Europe Countries.
2. Promote investment and partnering by introducing a delegation of international investors and top European entrepreneurs to the key players in the region.
3. Sector and stage scope of companies - 24 selected 'expansion' tech ventures active in Deep tech, Mobility, Energy, Agri-tech, Blockchain, Fintech.
The South East Europe Tech Tour 2019 promotes innovation and investment into the best technology companies from across Europe and is your chance to connect with VCs, entrepreneurs, industry experts and thought leaders to foster new connections, business and investment.

Entrepreneurial companies will present their business to an invited delegation of 30 local and 30 international investors, active in the region.

dedicated Selection Committee will unite leading international investors, senior business leaders, and representatives from development institutes to identify up the selected 30 high-quality companies to present their businesses at the South East Europe Tech Tour. Over 150 companies will go through a rigorous review process and be assessed based on the uniqueness of their technology, the strength of their business model, vision, a capability to execute on the business plan, and the quality and track record of their management.
