Recruitment, retention and professional development of employees in the context of major changes in outsourcing

The Business Service Leaders Association (ABSL) organizes on May 24, 2018, at Ramada Hotel in Iasi, the conference "How HR Practices evolve in a period of major changes in outsourcing Industry". The third edition of this event is dedicated to Business Process Outsourcing, Shared Services Centers and IT Outsourcing professionals, member and non-member companies, local authorities and business representatives from Iasi.

2018-05-17 12:41:49

The event will try to answer questions on how the companies in Iaşi are ready for the impact that technology has in the emergence and disappearance of some types of jobs? How do practices turn into recruitment, retention and professional development of employees as a result of differences between generations? These are just a few of the questions that will find their answer in the conference next week.

Moreover, regarding the recruitment of staff, there is a growing tendency for companies to use machine learning systems, data analysis and search tools to predict who the candidates will be interested in in a particular job. At the same time, in terms of employee retention, recruiters begin to use data analytics to identify common factors for employees who have left the company (the same manager, department) and to identify those who have a high probability of leaving the job . In this context, the purpose of the conference is to facilitate the exchange of best practices and jointly anticipate the challenges and opportunities brought by the implementation of new technologies and business models.
Top companies will share their expertise and provide insights into how trends in the field will affect the Romanian Outsourcing industry. Also, case studies will be presented, and the discussion sessions will involve the participants in relevant discussions, and will further apply to their companies the information and exchange of experience gained during the event.

The event addresses the local business community in Iaşi and the northeastern region of Romania and will be moderated by Colin Lovering, Senior Vice President Avison Young and Liliana Bizău, Senior Account Manager ABSL.

Entrance to the event is based on an invitation, and participation is free of charge. For bookings, entries are made at https://www.absl.ro/event/iasi-business-mixer-2018/
