Computaris reports positive 2016 results and outlook for 2017

Computaris International Ltd., specialized provider of software development and system integration services for software vendors and communication service providers, reports positive 2016 results and outlook for 2017.

In 2016 Computaris has increased its portfolio with more than 10 new customers, European and North American global leaders in the technology and telecom market.

In support of the customers and new projects started in S-E Asia, Computaris opened a new office in the Philippines, with plans to increase the local team local over the year 2017. This is the company's second office in Asia, after Malaysia in 2009, and the 10th worldwide.

Year 2016 has brought about a significant number of large size projects and opportunities for customer dedicated teams, projected to extend throughout 2017. The company announces plans to hire more than 50 senior software engineers, QA engineers and junior developers joining the team in early 2017. As the company continues its growth trajectory, Computaris plans to expand to larger offices in several locations. A first step has been taken at the beginning of this year with the moving of the office in Galati to a new and more spacious location.

"2016 has set the premises for substantial business growth. The prospects for 2017 look positive in terms of new sales and expected revenues from both existing customers and a large pipeline of new opportunities in Europe, North America and Latin America. With support from the expertise available within the R Systems group, we are planning to address new market verticals such as healthcare, insurance, IPTV, analytics, while focusing to continue to grow our existing skills in the area of NFV, OpenStack technologies", stated Raluca Rusu, Computaris International Chief Executive Officer.

Computaris International was founded in the UK in 1992 and ever since, it spread with offices in Poland, Romania, Moldova, Malaysia, India and the US. So far, according to company data, delivered over 1000 projects to more than 80 companies worldwide.
