Stefanini plans 25 per cent growth of turnover in Romania this year to 45 million Euro
Brazilian global leader in IT outsourcing and software application development Stefanini looks at 25 per cent growth of turnover in Romania in 2017, to 45 million Euro, as stated by Marco Stefanini, the founder of the company.
The company founder also said that Stefanini plans to hire another 400 professionals in the company's centers located at Bucharest, Sibiu and Targu Mures, so that it could reach 1.800 employees, out of 2300 employees located in EMEA region. In the past four years, the company achieved an average of 20 per cent increase of employee pool and the increase is expected to be maintained also this year. Also, Romania stands for the company's operational hub for Stefanini's operations in Poland and Republic of Moldova and the local offices deliver services for 7o companies from USA, Australia, Germany, France, Switzerland, Portugal, Spain, Canada, Russia, Greece, Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia and UK.
Globally, Stefanini is present in 39 countries and operates 88 offices with over 22.000 employees, according to the company's official data. The company delivers services for 500 customers out of which 300 are multinational corporations, active in industries such as banking, financial, production, telecom, services, technology, utilities and public sector. In 2010, Stefanini took over the global operations of TechTeam Global, the latest being present in Romania since 2004. Also, according to company's data, the service desk operations stands for 70 per cent of the company's business in Romania, while 20 per cent stands for application development services and 10 per cent represents IT infrastructure services.
