IT Solutions provider Atos has leased almost half of the second office building OpenVille Timisoara

The Iulius Company signed a partnership with the international IT solutions provider Atos for the lease of 6,000 sqm in the United Business Center 1 (UBC 1) A-class office building located in the Openville Timișoara mixed-use ensemble.

The Atos team, the European leader in digital services, will be doing business in Openville Timişoara as of the third quarter of 2017, as the head offices will also be hosting, among others, the newest center for expertise in cybernetic security of the company. The head offices in the UBC 1 A-class office building will comprise a 6,000 sqm area.

The construction of the second A-class office building in Openville started in June 2016. UBC 1 will have 12 floors and a leasable area of 13,000 sqm. Designed as per the LEED requirements, UBC 1 will be subject to implementation of sustainable operation policies, in order to boost the efficiency of utilities costs and the tenants' comfort. The location in the Openville mixed use project will provide multiple benefits for office employees, offering them access to multiple facilities such as: parking spaces, restaurants, cafés, stores, conference halls, an extensive range of services, park, as well as special promotional offers and discounts.

Iulius is investing over 20 million Euro in the Openville Timişoara mixed-use project located in the vicinity of Iulius Mall, being the second mixed-use project in the company portfolio after Palas Iaşi. The construction works were started in September 2015 with the construction works for the UBC 2 office building, which will be completed this year. The companies that have contracted premises in this 18,000 sqm building include Ness Software Engineering Services, Autoliv Romania and the REGINA MARIA Polyclinic.

Openville will comprise a total built area of 594,000 sqm, and Iulius Mall Timişoara will be an integral part thereto. The office component will have the largest share in the ensemble, spanning on a total leasable area of 130,000 sqm, with 7 buildings. As far as the retail component is concerned, Openville will include 450 stores, restaurants and themed cafés, a multiplex cinema, a fresh market area, four event halls, the largest playground and several other leisure options. Moreover, the citizens of Timișoara will also be able to enjoy the largest suspended park in Romania, a green space spanning on more than 55,000 sqm, as well as approximately 4,050 parking spaces in both underground and multi-level parking facilities.
