Webhelp acquires social content moderation services company Netino

Leading global customer experience company, Webhelp, has announced the acquisition of top social content moderation company, Netino, owner of Moderatus technology.

2016-10-05 14:26:15

This is the ninth acquisition transaction performed by Webhelp in the past 24 months, as part of the company's global development strategy. The transaction is analyzed as strategic and, according to the company, it allows the buyer to expend the digital operations and consolidate its presence as "technology catalyst". Netino activities will be consolidated to the operations run by Webhelp Digital&Marketing Services, that specializes in content management (web content improvement, web screening, UGC moderation), social media (monitoring and involvement on social channels and graphic design).

Netino has a portfolio of over 120 main accounts in various industry sectors, especially mass-media, such as Le Monde, France TV, Europe1 and runs video content operations. Its own platform Moderatus is connected to over 600 websites and Facebook pages. According to Matthieu Bouin, manager for strategy and development within Webhelp, "this is just another step in our journey to become one of the leading international providers for Client Centric BPO. Netino has gained an excellent reputation in e-moderation services, fit to our existent digital offer."

From Netino, Jeremie Mani, the company's CEO, said: "Combining Webhelp's reach with Netino's expertise on social media gives us the possibility to support companies at every stage in their customer experience journey. Additionally, becoming part of Webhelp will give us the capacity to approach new geographies and new markets, which is in line with our ambitions for the next few years."

Netino was founded in 2002 and now has a workforce of 400 people in 10 countries. The business, which has 120 clients, including well-known names in the media industry, such as Le Monde and France TV, will continue to be run by CEO, Jérémie Mani and founder and CTO Jean-Marc Royer, with support from Webhelp's development director of Digital & Marketing Services, Chloe de Mont-Serrat, who will serve as CCO.

The acquisition is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
