Smartree business rose 33% in the first half due to larger demand in temp workSmartree, one of the leaders in Romanian market for outsourcing HR processes, achieved a turnover of about 5.5 million Euro (24.65 million RON) in the first half of the year, up 33% compared to the same period of last year.2016-08-23 11:45:59 - by Bogdan Tudorache | |
The advance of the business was due to the growing demand for solutions for optimizing internal processes from local companies in the first quarter, and to larger demand for temporary work and payroll services, the two pillars for growth in the second quarter.
"In the second quarter, the biggest advance was recorded by the temporary employment sector, a trend felt across markets due to more dynamic economy as a whole. Both companies and employees began to take profit increasingly by the larger flexibility offered by this system," says Adrian Stanciu, CEO, Smartree.
Thus, if in the first half of 2015 the temp work grew by less than 10% from the same period of 2014, this year it made a greater contribution to the business, reporting an increase of 40% in the first half, compared to the first six months of 2015.
"During peak periods, recruitment infrastructure in temporary work is complex. Companies increasingly turn to specialized agencies in this regard to cover staffing needs on certain projects, which they greatly relieve the recruitment and management of staff. This option, which contributes to achieving business objectives and project delivery, is considered increasingly more often, regardless of open positions," explains Adrian Stanciu.
Another highly requested service especially in the second quarter was the payroll, segment which grew 15% in the company's business in the first half of the year compared with the same period last year.
Regarding the outlook for the second half of the year, representatives Smartree expects further significant increases on all lines, especially in the area of temporary employment.
In 2015, Smartree recorded a turnover of 9.6 million euros, 15% more than in 2014.
