ISSCO expands local offices to Iasi and plans 400% growth

Following a successful journey in Bacau's IT outsourcing segment, ISSCO opens a new office in Iasi and ups its team by more than 75 new employees.

The company has 24 employees now and a 500,000 euro turnover registered in 2015, estimating an amount of 2 million euro by the end of 2016, taking into account the projects that are going to be implemented, with the newly- created development team. The Iasi office will hire 50 new people.

The personnel is planned to reach 100 people by year-end or in the near term, and ISSCO has rented a 300 sqm of space in a new and modern central office building, Aria Office Center in Iasi to fulfill its ambitious growth plan.

Nick Vercruyssen, CEO in the ISSCO holding, is a well-known name in the nearshoring business as well as an active IT service provider such as: software development, websites, mobile apps, GPS tracking. He took his Master's degree in Computer Science at the Ghent University in Belgium, followed by more than 10 years in Project Management and Team Management in various companies, Data Center Technologies, Hostbasket, Deboosere and others;

R&D Manager for Aserver/Cloudfounders, also being involved actively in different software companies.

"The years of experience in the IT Domain, build up in different multinational innovative IT companies, brought me the privilege of working with different nationalities of IT specialists. As project manager, sales manager and R&D manager, even as Scrum lead, gave me deep insights in how to build, lead and empower teams, both in functional, commercial and technical challenges," he says.

"The extension to Iasi is a logical next step in our vision to become an industry leader," adds Vercruyssen.

main activity fields include segments like: IT software, IT hardware, Food Industry, Digital Cinema Systems, Fleet Tracking, Digital Media Production, E-commerce as well as the technologies used in our projects so far: .NET / Python (Django) / Java / PHP / Elixir; HTML / CSS / JavaScript; Mobile Development: iOS, Android, Hybrid; Quality Assurance; System & Network Administration.

Nick Vercruyssen is a certified member in John Maxwel Team, present in Euronest ICT Cluster, being also involved in community projects, sponsoring social causes. ISSCO pays a great deal of attention to the market workforce potential, organizing internships for the students in Bacau University.
